More proof society has gone bonkers. Mind you Jesus would approve. Didn't he say "never forgive anybody anything"? Or was that Allah? I get so confused by these religious moral codes. Which was the one that wanted little children to suffer? Humanity is odd.
I see the actor confessed, did his time, now some time ago. Not one word that he has shown any signs of repeating any further offenses or acting dangerously. Actually the Jesus / christian thing is not about exacting the "pound of flesh" (UK "injustice" of vindictiveness) but forgiveness (new beginnings), acceptance that we all do and can go astray "in the moment" or a period of time. To act in continuous condemning without any reasonable cause is hypocrisy (another thing that the Jesus character got excited about).
That also was the thing with Max Clifford, what became known and he also agreed with was his liaisons with other women when married so his reactions and pride at his part in JK's downfall (Max believed the stories or rather chose to believe even though he knew he created stories himself like one about Freddie Star eating the hamster) and his high mindedness over Gary Glitter (he had stories turn up at his door at that time as well so he claimed in his book). Yes his trial was full of stories and the letter really is another of those police tactics. Find something this time a received letter and still having it in one;s possession does not of itself mean a single thing (It was copied so that is more a pointer evidence to possible collusion for setting up MC - only a pointer). But the police and CPS like the jury to reach conclusions purely based on conjecture. There is no context.
Anyhow as I am living in Thailand I found a interesting comment included after the rescue of the boys in the cave near Chiang Rai. Have highlighted the phrase. Thailand is over 90% practicing Buddhists who also seem to have principles of kindness, compassion forgiveness and practical means of resolving issues. Problems for sure as we have people here, but it appears to work better that that Hollywood actress here in the latest outburst been self righteously destructive. Unless there is any new problem why can't she let it go!!!! (He got six months from the report, doesn't even sound major)

'blame culture', where a culprit must be found for any misadventure. There is a more fatalistic acceptance of things going wrong, less public clamour for accountability."
