TOPIC: Dogs in bed.

Dogs in bed. 5 Years, 5 Months ago
I fully agree with this article that says you sleep better with your dogs.
My two sleep next to me, and my girl cat, but the boy cats are turfed out every night because they shove each other off and jump on me.
Anyone else?

This is Prince my 19 years old Parrot, a darling and a fund raiser for every charity in Dorset. He sleeps in bed with me every night, cuddles on my should and tells me he loves me, kisses me all the time, then settles down on my head till he wakes me up hours later with a very gentle tug on my nose so I can put him on his poo station.

Your prince is beautiful and sounds quite a character.
I would love a parrot one day.

Thank you. Prince is a darling, the most sweetest and gentle soul you could ever wish to meet. He has been a charity fund raiser for every charity in Dorset for many many years, always draws a crown when i am out with him, People cannot believe he is real. He is uber gregarious and loves people. He has been photographed thousands of times by visitors from all around the world. He was not purchased as a pet but to give him the best possible life in captivity. He has never been caged, never had his wings clipped and never poos on anyone when we go out and mingle with his fans.

This is Prince on one of our visits to charities in Swanage, on the Sandbanks ferry

He is magnificent.
I have had lots of injured birds passing through and leaving when they get better, but we once reared a Raven from when he was tiny (some swine shot the flock and he was the only survivor) and it was like having another (naughty) child, but he could outsmart me any day!
We all adored him (never caged) but when the time came for him to fly off on his own he was ready long before me, and it broke my heart.
However, he lives locally, he has a flock, and a mate, and he comes to visit us sometimes.
And of course he speaks, so passers-by are sometimes alarmed when he shouts"Hello Honey" from the trees.
I am expecting to be burned at the stake any day now!
