She really is quite dreadful; like a very good corporate chief's secretary, doing what she is told to do without any ability at all to make decisions herself. So she avoids any questions and just answers "this is what we must do". If she says "up and down the country" once more I'll scream. The entire Brexit madness is not just a poisoned chalice, it is a torture chamber. N wonder nobody else wants the job as PM. I'd fire her, elect Ken Clarke who would forget Brexit and get on with running the country.

Harsh - bearing in mind that TM said the leaving the EU was not in the UK's best interest.

She was anti-Brexit, and openly so.

When later inheriting a c4% majority (from us, the electorate) in favour of Brexit - this dignified lady had few options.

She had the option Barney of not standing for pm knowing she would have to drive through what she didnt believe in...

She has the option daily to not patronise us with sound-bites and cliche..

If she had dignity she would follow her principles and show leadership from the back benches and campaign to reverse the rot..

But then she wouldnt have got to be pm...which it seems is an end in itself..

She was looking very haggard on the news today. More than usual.

Did Thatcher want to go to the Falklands

Did Churchill not want the NHS

'Events dear boy' said Harold

Everyday now...there's critical decisions

So easy to denigrate them all

Most of us don't bother trying to change things

A view surprisingly also held by Tony Blair, on Marr this morning.

TB admires the way she goes about her job, and her hard work.

PMs have to carry out the directives of the electorate, and that precisely is what she's doing.

Otherwise, maybe referendums should be banned...
