Hardly news, ITK. Edward openly admitted that, unlike the rest of his family, military life was not for him. He is the exeption to the rule.

I'm not sure why you're so desperate on this issue. How on earth do you interpret the latest announcement as confiming your fantasy about Prince Harry doing a desk job? Rather than your being "in the know" it's obvious that you really haven't a clue.

I'm afraid that history is with me on this one.

Despite Prince Andrew's claims to have done 22 years "in the service" he never seemed to be absent from London very much did he?

Pretty much the same with Charles. Service in ALL three branches but never actually "missing"?

Re - Harry ... we'll have to wait and see (but I'll bet he's slumped on a London pavement again in the not too near future !)
