If the allegations against him are true, an awful lot of women didn't think his behaviour was worth reporting to police at the time, which seems very odd if he was engaging in predatory criminal behaviour. (That article apparently isn't accessible in the UK but the story is covered elsewhere, e.g.: www.foxnews.com/entertainment/harvey-wei...ence-lawsuit-claims.)

I cant get past the entire audience clapping and cheering when Meryl Streep praised him as she was getting some or other award.
Yet they say it was common knowledge?

It was common knowledge that Harvey "liked girls" just as everybody knew that Kevin Specey "liked boys" and that Jimmy Savile liked "young girls" which everyone knew was 16+. I never made any secret of my taste for both - always over 16. The worst thing about the False Allegations Industry is not invention but exaggeration.
