The party "announcement" looks like being made next Thursday, Mart (when they have recovered their composure from the shock of this week's election results !).

He's waiting till after Tuesday so he can claim Northern Ireland "as a highlight/success" of his sojourn (even though it will only just have begun sitting - and we have seen on previous occasions, they don;t always last long !) Says alot about the other "achievements", doesn't it?

Looks like Gordon will be in power on June 30th - which will be strange having a Scottish MP as PM in England when the Labour Party don't control Scotland and have been all but wiped-out there !

** Surprised that Toady doesn't try and hang on till autumn - then he could get another freebie holiday in this summer !

Whilst watching the football in extra time here, it has occured to me that this is the longest political wait for a golden goal of all time.

It`s inevitable, exhausting and gives the player cramp.

When Blair applauds the crowd, when he walks off, is his substitute fit enough?
