Someone I know vaguely through Facebook, who seems to be a Leave voter and politically of the left, recently shared a Vote Leave campaign video originally posted by someone called Liam Tuffs, who has a vast following on Facebook. Tuffs appears to be a pseudonym and he seemingly runs a security company under the name of Liam Gillett.

He apparently is anything but left wing. Google shows that he attended a Tommy Robinson rally and voiced anti-Muslim sentiment. He is reportedly a friend of Tommy Robinson.

He has also accused his father of abuse.

Perhaps the Vote Leave video was shared without knowing this man's background, but seems to show that these people can have a wide reach through social media and that anyone who voted Leave was effectively in the same boat as members of the far right.

The father is apparently a gangland figure who a couple of months ago was convicted of historic child abuse and jailed for 18 years.

Both died in their 60's.

Judging by a couple of the YouTube results, the father had even written a song with Reggie Kray and brought out another record with himself and what seems to be his spookily identical-looking son on the cover.

Hardly a life threatening connection...plenty of far left supported Brexit....in fact back in '75 Maggie Thatcher was a prominent EEC backer...while many on the Labour benches wanted out...including Benn..
