I'm still
Remain but I reckon Britain now deserves the intense pain it is going to get.
The years and years of it. Probably decades.
The vast majority of public seem like total morons to me..or maybe they are the ones with the loudest voices. And that's just the politicians.
The general public who are screeching
"NO DEAL BREXIT" really seem
sub-normal to me.
Phony "patriots" all with their own little headspace of a Britain that mainly never existed (for them)as they rabbit on about some vague notion of "sovereignty" (whatever the fuck that means).
Great civilizations eventually crash and burn and more often than not, from within. It seems to me the USA & UK are heading for ginormous crashes from which recovery will be almost impossible.
They've gotten too big. Too many people. It's all unsustainable.
Obama said the banks were "too big to fail" but actually the UK & US are too big
not too fail. Nothing is permanent.
This is the end result of a rampant market economy that started with Thatcher / Reagan. We are now seeing the beginning of the end.
It will be a nightmare for all those millions of young people but perhaps they need their own WW2 to battle through and come out the other side stronger and tougher (unlike the combined nitwits that rabbit on about hat war as though they were there or
Winston Churchill won it all by himself while ignoring the 9 million Russians, 400,000 Americans, 30,000 Aussies & Kiwis and the millions in Europe who died defeating the Nazis.
The combining of police, fantasists and the media to try and demolish a great war hero like
Lord Bramall seems like an portent of how Britain has sunk into the gutter (never a mention of him..it was that racist Churchill what won the war)
I reckon the EU will become determined to consolidate itself and ensure there are no more Brexits.
I reckon they will reach out to young Britons, court them ..possible a scheme where those under 30 can travel as they did before while the oldies can just queue (but not me with my Irish passport).
I say bring it on. It's a gamble though. We may be entering the
Age of Russia. (China will outstrip everyone else of course...I asked my father in the 70s what his advice was to succeed in the 21St Century and he said
"learn Mandarin")
This is perhaps a paradigm shift that was inevitable as power evaporates in one place only to arise in another.
I don't think Corbyn will succeed (his Leave anyway) but the fix is in. The rich will prosper but they can just jump on a private jet and go anywhere.
The citizens have been successfully divided. I don't think there is any going back.
Fasten your seat belts.
