... with inevitable responses criticising the parents, though there does unusually seem to be someone who is sympathetic. It seems clear from some of the responses that there is resentment towards the parents and about the money spent on investigating the case because the parents are of a particular class and/or income bracket. In any discussions about the case, there also always seems to be at least one person self-righteously harping on about how the parents shouldn't have left their children alone, as if they've never done anything irresponsible while on holiday or with a group of friends doing the same thing.
As I don't use Twitter, I don't know whether someone can delete responses they don't approve of. I have always wondered this about MWT's account.
