I was wondering what his background is. A former police officer, perhaps? He has a Times profile of himself pinned to the top of his Twitter page, but if it says what he did before it's behind a paywall.

I wonder if Jerermy Kyle will be on board for this...it seems MWT has binged the 80s cult film The Exterminator. Robert Ginty was one fine actor and a very good looking guy.

I don't think his prime motivation is to solve crime. Overconfidence and excessive boastfulness are often indications of an inner struggle with the flip side of these traits which includes self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy. He would be one of the last people to accept or admit to having his own dark, destructive emotions and urges. One way of coping with this inability to accept the dark side is to develop an obsession with other people who have gone one step further and acted out their inner darkness. All his fears can then easily be projected onto them. Problem solved.

And could this be the reason he was totally obsessed with children and sex, suppressing his interests, getting away with it by telling us all how vile the people are who view images when all the time getting a boner on it following Sabrina the Teenage Witch on Twitter and Dani Minogue all strange.
MWT has pumped up everything he sticks his nose into telling us all of his expert knowledge of the subjects he decides is flavour of the day.
He acts like the guy in the Inbetweeners who comes out with so much shit about his sex life.
For gods sake let's hope soon an end comes to his tripe he peddles.
