Karasek told the Post that she appreciated Biden's support but said the encounter made her uncomfortable because of the close proximity of their faces. She told the paper that she did not know how to respond to the gesture at the time."

"None of the women who have come forward have accused Biden of sexual harassment. Rather, they've described behavior that made them feel uncomfortable because it invaded their personal space, regardless of his intentions."
Still, some kind of sexual transgression is what this fuss implies, isn't it, especially in the age of #metoo? It's rather low of them to be reinterpreting an empathetic gesture as something offensive, or that the press should be doing that for them.
