A rather unusual wideo was released by the army today about an alleged assault by a number of soldiers - on a female colleague.

The head of the army was the newslike presenter of a video presentation - telling us that such activity was totally against what the services stand for.

Ignoring the fact that it's against what we all stand for!

Over half serving officers come from 10% of the population - are privileged, and have had private education.


Paradoxically - in the USA, with a significantly larger, more lethal and efficient organisation - officers are picked only on merit.

Their boot camp trainers, instructors, and selectors - have no idea where they came from, or who they are.

Sadly - we/they still consider if the applicant's father knew Montgomery at Eaton...

It almost goes without saying that video man (Carelton-Smith/forces head) attended Eaton!

Good morning Barney....my father fought under Montgommery in the dessert and then Europe in the last war...but never did make it to Eaton.

Not seen the video,so will make no comment...but no doubt somebody will expect the Pontiff to make a public apology and pay compo...
