Announcement of no announcement. 5 Years ago
If Prince harry and his wife dont want people gawping at their baby until they have "celebrated as a family" its up to them, but why go the bother of drawing further attention to themselves by announcing no announcement?
Why not just do it?

Was there really no announcement though?

Or just the usual journalist jargon:-

- are said to

- are thought to prefer

- are expected to

- seem unlikely to

- may consider

Even - 'the baby will be a boy or a girl' or 'will have two feet' wouldn't be out of place in this cauldron of journalistic non-factual free for all...

Yes, Barney. It was an actual announcement from Kensington palace.

It seems to me it will just whip the journalists into a stalking frenzy in case they miss it.

Oh dear. Meghan really really should have invited all her relatives to the wedding.
Poor Doria. I have got photos of myself after childbirth looking half dead and shocked, and I would be horrified to see them in the paper.
