I'll be supporting the underdog for obvious reasons (a friend once offered to take me to a game as his guest; I suggested it might not be wise as we would inspire rude comments).

Well done Man City - regulars will remember I'm a huge Kevin de Bruyne fan (he was the reason I backed Belgium for the World Cup) so delighted he's the Man of the Match.

Al Mubarak/Abu Dhabi have invested billions into Manchester City, and other clubs on most continents.

Like the Dubai aristocracy have into Paris side PSG, as well as many others.

If FIFA/UEFA continue to allow money to rule, the future is bleak.

Put simply, football success is often bought. Juventus is owned by the Ferrari family!

Most other Premiership Clubs are owned by foreign billionaires - who rarely visit their asset.

Like the Manchester United owners who acquired the club for nothing - after extracting its value; the Americans just take out all they can...

I think some club owner has now invested or set up a wrestling promotion.
