Why would anyone want to do this to themselves? Seems like self-harm, to me.

Ethan Bramble: Tattooed model mocks arrest warrant in Australia

Even with small-scale tattoos, I can't see the attraction or how it's suppose to be an enhancement. It's not as if most people would take a can of blue-green spray paint and scrawl an image on the walls of their home and call it an improvement.

Indeed Jo..I'm ugly enough without adding silly bits...there is an old boy who lives near me...bent double, and all blown up with various ailments...covered head to toe in tattoos...quite famous in his day...looks strange now they have all faded, and he has got big.

Tattoo parlours and vape shops have taken over the high streets in my area...although the tattoo artist over the road from me spends all his time outside vaping

The world seems to be full of fat tattooed people in tracksuit bottoms, crack showing, walking pedigree dogs...while grumbling about benefit cuts...what would ITK have to say?

Never understood the appeal also, I have asked numerous friends they couldn't give me a definitive answer apart from "I wanted it" or "I like the band".

I would rather buy a T shirt.

ITK was a regular poster called In The Know GM; these forums have been going for over 20 years and we've had many eccentric contributors over the decades; not least my good self.

ITK is exactly as Doctor King explained...sadly bullied off the hoard...but then again he didn't help himself.

I live on a main road in margate...when in the UK...sadly an out of town shopping centre, and online shopping have turned it away from its former glory....as with many backwaters.

A very good evening to you GM...

No comment about living in Kent.

ITK sounds an interesting fella, was he as eccentric as the people at UK Records.😉

I dont think anything terrible has happened to him, because it was a specific incident that led him to stop posting.
I cant remember exactly what happened now.

I don't think ITK was "bullied" off this board?

He was / is our resident Tory so perhaps he's out on the Hustings working on who the new PM will be.

I reckon Jacob Rees Mogg would be his choice.

He may have gone into decline after he realised that I as a direct descendant from the Plantagenets was far more Royal than he as a claimed descendant of the rather minor and inferior, middle class House of York and especially as I knew the last Real King of England Michael Edward Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun who was an Australian sheep farmer..lovely chap..(his son took the title and still farms those sheep) but now with the revelation that I'm only 43 degrees removed from Henry V111 (long with only 20 million others) it's probably more than he can bear.

Tattoos? If they were really bright colours I might like them.

Constant bullying...so I bullied the bully...he did set himself up for it though...he could come back, the bullying behaviour is no longer tolerated..but this board sadly is far too political...he would have to support his facts...sadly few on here do...

Good morning Honey

Jacob Rees-Mogg recently said he could never leave the Conservative Party as he is "Tory to his Toenails". This is the exact phrase ITK used to describe him in one of his posts about a year ago.

Whoever he is he sounds a right waste of space. Might need to dig deeper. If you asking asking about 'Andrew' he ran off to the Channel Islands with an old Irish estate agent.

He only wanted flat near work.

Ah, that explains it. I had no idea.

I knew Andrew in the flesh, lived near me...he had been on this board since before 2006...as had itk...I started following it a few months later.
Andrew had an interest in some quite obscure older music, and his knowledge ran deep...last I heard he was in NI...I wish him well, nice guy.

ItK...he was public enemy number one many years ago,but strangely he was great entertainment...instead of arguing with him we just sat back and enjoyed the ride...the board was never a dull place....

...but the one I miss the most was Martin Kitchner...sadly passed just over four years ago...Doctor King is the one who should tell us about him...but I somehow doubt he will...ten years ago we were far more into music and food..

Good afternoon GM
