So far Trump has done very well 4 Years, 10 Months ago
Hedda's going to hate this but Trump is winning me over; I still hate much of what he stands for (that bloody wall) but I thought he was very good (so far); I suspect he's more popular in the States than the media would like and I find myself agreeing with him on China for example (an excellent New York Times piece today on Tianamen).

I could just imagine you doing a new series of Entertainment USA...what fun it would be now...wish we could go back to quality TV like that.

Big blustering Trump versus drained hunched May. Seems to sum up Brexit Britain's position now. Very depressing.

I have no problems with Americans, I always found pleasent towards me. A US trade deal could open up new horizons for the UK.

The USA is a growing market, while the eu is struggling...pretty well sums up Remainers Britain ...and add in ChangeUK has continued to change...its getting smaller it's a good thing he's a friend...could you imagine Corbyn doing a trade deal with him😅

Another sad video of anti Trump supporters assaulting a man because of his political views doing the rounds...and this time the whole thing is on camera...you know your cause is lost when you have to resort to violence...

I remember watching it on and off. It was kinda fun to watch, especially the theme parks and clothes shops.

Now when I look at the free TV guides in my Sunday paper. I like to mumble to myself and think 'are people paying or watching to see this crap?'

Here's something for SM to watch SM.

That's how abuser work.

When they let up for a minute and start falsely being nice their victims are so relieved they start loving their abuser again.

It always ends in tears.

also don't forget he's softening Britain up for Brexit and the worst Trade Deal in history.

If Brexit happens and when the millions of moronic Brits find their "sovereignty" was a pipe dream and the world isn't battering down the doors to do deals...the vultures & Carpetbaggers of the US will be there in droves offering shiny beads to the peasants.

The price will be of course, the wholesale privatization and looting of everything not nailed down such as the NHS etc.

Turkeys voting for Christmas in their millions. Turkeys with their ludicrous Union Jack flags claiming to be patriots and accusing everyone who doesn't accept their idiotic mantras and their proclamations of what is "British".. a traitor..terrified of Johnny Foreigner and yet, yet they bow down to the world's Most Successful Grifter.

The UK will change dramatically and be re-built in the image of a handful of US billionaires, a vile American con-artist president, a crook & snake Nigel Farage and the (not nice) buffoon Boris.

It's quite bizarre to watch deluded Brits fawn over the ghastly orange faced pathological liar who has burned 10,000s of employees, contractors (me ), banks, partners and who seemingly believe a man with a life long history of blatant fraud and ripping off ethical businesses won't do the same to them.

What the fuck goes on in people's heads (yes you too JK) when they can plainly see how almost every day of this man's presidency he has ripped up deals that took years to make ( China. Australia etc) ..that were forged in good faith, has turned ally against ally..before he steps foot into the UK insults a member of the Royal Family and blatantly lies about it, insults London's Lord Mayor etc etc etc...that somehow he will treat you nicely. Fucking bizarre.

Yes - and you will note that on the other Trump thread, I have listed just some of his achievements.

Some are put off by his bombastic personality and rhetoric. But America is a better place, since he took office.

Problems are faced by him, not ignored. And unpalatable solutions considered and/or implemented.

The Southern border (to the US) issue will rise to the top of the list, very soon. The constant influx of illegals cannot continue.

Wonder how many people willing to ignore or dismiss his racism actually sympathise with it.

Donald Trump's racism - The definitive list

Racist incidents on the rise, union for government workers warns

Hate groups reach record high

"The number of hate groups operating across America rose to a record high – 1,020 – in 2018 as President Trump continued to fan the flames of white resentment over immigration and the country’s changing demographics.

It was the fourth straight year of hate group growth – a 30 percent increase roughly coinciding with Trump’s campaign and presidency – following three consecutive years of decline near the end of the Obama administration."

Barney likes Fake News.

The US is a better place? All in the way you look at it.

The economy has slipped into third place under Trump. He lauds as his achievement (as do his cult-like fans) when the Stock Exchange rallies but ignore when auto stocks crash as they just have after his ridiculous Mexican tariff threats ..what business can think of planning investment years ahead with a president who makes such idle threats?

Of course a tiny minority are benefiting hugely out of Trump's actions.

I've witnessed advocates against the False Allegations Industry rally behind Trump when his Supreme Court pick is accused of historic abuse...yet ignore when they and he encourage the very same.. @pizzagate Hilary Clinton's "crimes" and membership of some mythical Satanic Abuse Cult.

This stuff is straight out of Josef Goebbel's playbook ( I don;t believe Trump read Mein Kampf as claimed..it's an unreadable rant & I doubt he's ever read a book in his life)

Divide and Conquer ..oldest trick in the book. Maggie did it and it worked. Those who joined the "winning" side of course celebrate and ignore the plight of the (millions) of losers.

He has however exposed a dark underbelly in the USA..was it always there?

Probably.. the Red Neck fascists number in the millions. They have guns and were "suppressed" in the past via a society that said they were an anathema.. but Trump has not just unleashed them..he has encouraged them (listen to his speeches..I bet you don't).

They aren't going to stay quiet.

## Interesting how the Tea Party movement has crashed and burned mainly from grifters who raised tens of $Millions from red neck fanatics, clueless small American farmers and business owners etc..yet handed over a tiny fraction of $$s to the movement and Republican candidates and kept the bulk in "fees" for themselves. Totally ignored.

### Same grifters have just done the same by raising $multi-millions to Build The Wall from same people but been told by numerous local US governments to shove off..a perfect excuse to pocket the cash.

Why not when you have a Grifter In Chief ?

TURKEY'S VOTING FOR CHRISTMAS
.. and even preparing the dinner and asking what time should they get into the oven.

As a political scientist I hated by elections...never seemed to work to any political framework....the libs used to win them...Doctor King wore a wig in them.but polling such a small scale was very tricky.

Don't tell Jo,who is obsessed with Trump and racism...but the labour candidate has admitted, and been caught out doing naughty racist things...and has promised to seek help if elected...

This one could easily go Brexit P....was a marginal before...Tory party HQ are just hoping not to be wiped out...and Labour have tried to put fighting crime on their canvassing...where the former MP was caught out lying, and did time...yes you couldn't make this up...but you also cannot make up a safe prediction...what minimal polling there was went Brexit...roll on the vote...

A good day to you

Wage growth has accelerated, GDP has grown by over 3% and the size of the economy is much bigger.

Unemployment is down and the numbers in employment have increased; immigration has reduced.

Yes Hedda - Trump is doing an awful job, since elected! Are any of these facts wrong?

Hedda can be a Little erratic with the facts...I'm sure he posted the USA had slipped to third in the world...but I did ask him to give us the facts behind the statement...I cannot recall an answer...but then again I'm too busy to keep up with all the forum posts...so perhaps he may now enlighten us with those facts?

Look, I can cite endless sources about Trump's disastrous "polices" but I have to assume that you two have a personal involvement where perhaps you benefit personally from Trump's appalling policies but, you know the whole idea is that the entire bloody country benefits and it isn't.

Trump's trade wars sent global investment tumbling – World Bank
Trump Is Slowing US Economic Growth

Barney.. for Christ's Sake stop saying fucking employment has increased because it's a lie.

The USA is a country where tens of millions of citizens work 2 jobs just to pay the rent.

You both are posting the most vapid claims that upon examination are far more complex when investiagted.. or..

The pair of you..Please Explain which of Donald Trump's policies will increase employment and how.

And do it NOW or forever hold your tongues.

I've made no claims hedda...but are still waiting for you to validate yours about the USA dropping to third.

I actually like the idea of slowing growth,at least upward growth will continue, without the boom and bust of previous Presidents...I don't particularly see Trump as a good President, but he is not the bad president as the former ones have been...

..Figures show the working classes have been losing out from the nation's growth since around 1970...a population of around 200 million then,300m now....

...and at least he is being honest about globalisation...it will take a serious world recession before the states will act though...far too many vested and conflicting interests.

I just had the most amazing Chinese dinner...and at less than £15 for two of us!....why are we talking Trump?
