Yes, a hardworking chap who started his working life as a ships steward.

Then became an MP/Minister/Deputy Prime Minister - for almost 40 years.

Never forgot his humble beginnings. Get well soon, sir.

I always liked his reaction to the egg attack. I reckon he won a lot more fans that day.

I don't like violence but I understand people can instantly react in their own physical attack mode. (personally I'd running screaming like a banshee )

It's when they behave like "Tommy Robinson" and go in for the second, third, fourth punch it's a worry.

Yes when Chumbawamba did the Ice Bucket trick they rushed over to me and said "aren't you proud of us?" and I replied "no you're wankers".
