As the Peter Saunders scandal breaks about sex abuse charities and we watch Bury Football club go under - this news story from a short while ago starts to pong slightly.

Would be interesting to know the background to that. There's no trace of his name on the Offside Trust's website.

The article says that the Offside Trust is a charity, but it's not listed on the Charity Commission's register.
apps.charitycommission.gov.uk/Showcharit.../AdvancedSearch.aspx

This must be because, judging from the Offside Trust website, "we are set up as a 'restricted fund' under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund (UK charity number 1099682)". That charity's aims and activities are "encouraging charitable giving", helping other charities and voluntary bodies, making grants to organisations and providing advocacy/advice/information.

It seems that Andy Woodward was a complainant in Bennell's trial.

"Woodward’s abuser was convicted of child sex offences against him and others some years ago (many of the reports do not make clear that Woodward was one of the complainants at that time)."

He apparently has a book out (June 2019).

I wouldn't have a clue what went on as my interest in football is about NIL.

Of course there are plenty of gays involved in football just as anywhere else and I'm wondering how much that is "exposed" is youthful experimentation.

I mean - is every blood sexual assignation people undertake an amazingly fabulous experience or do people , well to put it crudely, have the dud fuck every now and then?

And then in the present atmosphere are they encouraged to re-write history?. Especially when a bloody large electricity bill comes in?

The reality is- all those young ladies who were involved in Jeffrey Epstein's world were on the game. They were not children. They were hardened young ladies who loved the money, the nearness to power, the flights on the Lolita Express and the chance to move in circles with "grab them by the pussy" Donald Trump (my God nothing touches that man).

Don't blame them for that but they are going for a second bite of the cherry. Can't even blame for that either.

It absolutely reeks, JK. Multiple trials, TV documentary before the second of four sets of charges, numerous others investigated, a dodgy ex-policeman. Well worth a look.
