The daggers are out again.
I'm seeing many tweets about some politicians living in million pound properties.

So, it's time for facts.

I know some bought their properties a long time before property market boom so the worth has multiplied, but what kind of mortgage would somebody realistically be allowed on 60-75 grand a year?

I read somewhere in the USA it's 5 times your salary.

Its their choice to live in nice expensive properties if they work fairly and pay for it.
