But because "it's a great story", media will continue hyping it; stirring up outrage. Result? Soon nearby fans, infuriated when games get stopped for stupid reasons which should just be ignored, will lynch the loonies. There will be deaths, like Hillsborough. "Racist fan killed after making monkey noises by vigilante supporters". Great story. Media will love it.

It's the event Guardian and Mirror want to happen. If you go to Portland, you will hear and see Black's just be as racist as White's. Racism is ugly in any forms it has no place anywhere in society.

Racism has always existed in the UK.

In Northern Ireland, the intolerance - of Catholics and Protestants - to each other, is legendary.

Anti-semitism is growing, and black and Asian people aren't welcome in many parts.

Nor are immigrants - often fleeing persecution and torture.


Our track record could be a lot better - as racism is even engendered on our political system.
