Oprah and Clooney - et all - get invited to royal weddings, even though those being married have never met them.

Certainly though, not in their circle of friends. When did Eugenie (or Harry) meet O or C? - any gatherings never made the news!

Even Meghan - an ex-TV actress - wasn't in their set; her Suits episodes were mostly done in Canada; their famous guests perform/work, mainly in the US.


Sadly our royals still like to be seen to have high profile acquaintances - just like our former King - Edward, who loved Germany...
