I really do these days. It's rubbish. It's mostly fake news (but not Donald Trump's gfake news as he has an entire network - Fox News full of Fake News devoted to him..

More than the media, I think I despise "journalists". I love the idea most will be unemployed (and unemployable ) in 10 years.

It's mean I know but they collectively have destroyed so many lives by being a Chorus Line and parroting claptrap.

ie: the pile on continues about Melbourne Favoured Murdoch pundit Andrew Bolt and Sydney conservationism (Murdoch) hack Gerard Henderson falsely accusing them over a "grooming"case.

What stands out here is those tweeting and rambling on on social media & completely getting it wrong including a Journalism Professor and well know writer Margot Saville (unfortunate name) who simply scoops up a falsified quote and repeats it.

this..an accusation that Andrew Bolt said "he just hit on the boy". Bolt DID NOT say "just".

I watched the program Andrew Bolt said "he hit on the boy". saying "just " gives another meaning, downplaying the offense.

Clearly many pundits didn't watch the program..both men said it was correct the offender was convicted and jailed.But the ranters bizarrely claim they are "pedophile supporters" as did the ABC's Louise Milligan (wpo penned the dreadful Pell accusation book full of falsehoods)

And Bolt said correctly that the accused did not sexually abuse him as in physically.
Considering I was abused as a child, raped as an adult, almost murdered said groomed lad had it easy..which does not mean he may not have been disturbed by the events ten times more than me. We can never know.

What stands out here is : those who attack Andrew Bolt are absolutely fixated on the false quote and obviously did not watch the program so prefer their own completely false version of events.

This is just weird and probably very dangerous.

Jo Stalin must look down (or up) & think "oh God, revisionism is so easy today..just a tap on the keyboards..we had to shoot a 1000 peasants & Commissars to get a story changed"

I don't trust anything that the ABC's Louise Milligan says in her reports on the Catholic Church or George Pell. Nor should anyone trust her tweets, like this appeal to my boss at Sky to, what, sack me?:

Not all of them. One example is the lovely and dignified Jane Moore, who was rounded on by her fellow presenters when she clarified some points about Caroline Flack, and subjected to horrible twitter abuse afterwards, when as far as I know she has never been nasty about anyone.

Jane; a dear friend who has always been totally loyal to me. David Rose - another genuine, decent man. Bob Woffinden was a giant. Yes; there are many exceptions that prove the rule.

Jane and Dominic somebody used to write columns in The Sun. I used to like reading them years ago.

Yes,,the really GOOD ones stand out even more so.

What gets me is an entire false narrative has been manufactured by an ABC journalist in the best tradition of a gutter tabloid.

And in doing so- the offending Louise Milligan deliberately inflamed a situation I believe for publicity without giving a stuff for the victim.

the victim has even penned a letter on the false claims of Milligan, the dame who wrote a totally perverted but effective book on George Pell which saw accusations thrown out of a court with a Magistrate severely criticizing the ludicrous of them.

And she is blindly supported.

Here is Andrew Bolt..a man with two young children who has been vilified by a Twitter lynch mob and some really bad "reporting" even by The Guardian (stop laughing)
