I'm reliably informed a certain regular contributor to ITV Mornings may have sold the story to The Sun in the first place; possibly because he's not as regular as he once was "no, you can't plug your paperback on the show"). But I know nothing. I'd assume it was a former client of James Grant who got dropped, seething with vindictive hatred.

I really like ByLines and it's the media of the future albeit with many competitors.

Having met Rupert Murdoch a few times I found him wonderfully engaging and personable (as JK claims) even though he told once to "fuck right off" because I was with a rival newspaper. I think it was in jest as the fragrant wife at the time Wendi winked at me.

Rupert however has few morals and it's all about profit so he'd swing whatever way is necessary (Thatcher one day, Blair the next).

His handsome son & heir Lachlan though is something else. Such a friendly chap but apparently, really is an extreme right winger (well he was educated in an Ivy League uni) and I knew his gorgeous model wife Sarah long before she married a billionaire.I'm not accusing anyone of being a 'social climber' but..

## I still have- perhaps I'll frame it- from a brief moment working at News Ltd..a memo TO ALL STAFF from Lachlan when he was CEO stating "ignore using the internet- it's a passing fad". (about the same time they bought MySpace).

I digress: It's on the record I simply cannot stand Phillip Schofield but I have no doubt something dreadful was brewing and he did what he had to do.

However, in this day & age remaining in the closet really is lunacy.,,Scholfield is just a REAL C*NT but of course I'd defend him just as I would dear old Harvey Proctor ( I think I'd get on well with Harvey)

It's the last Hurray for the tabloids..they are going down the sink..5 years if they are lucky but they won't go silently.

## is that gossip true? That his daughters adore him according to press releases or is the opposite true as rumoured- they are thoroughly pissed off their old bender Dad has been lying to them for years?

I always feel sorry for the wives in this situation. So many men are doing this now. Living a "supposed" straight life by getting married and having children and then coming out in the Autumn of their years. The wife must suffer and I do think the children feel like they have lost their father (if not now, definitely in the future).

As regards the papers I have not read any Murdoch papers for donkey's years.
