Cardinal Pell's appeal has commenced.

The High Court of Australia will sit for two days.

The two day hearing is finished.

And the seven judges have reserved judgement - as anticipated.

Following verbal jousting - between prosecution and defense attorneys - about the validity of the jury verdict.

Pell didn't attend - and remains in a high security prison, near Melbourne.

No timescale exists for the final appeal verdict.


Many in Australia feel that the Cardinal will walk free.
