Every morning, when Mrs Mart starts to leave for work, the dog infuriates the whole household by barking madly and running off with her handbag.

It`s very annoying, but we think we have got to the crux of the problem now.

Last night for the second time only, I wrapped a particularly dry old steak from the local pub up in a paper napkin and brought it back for the dog.

The dog is making a hyserical fuss which probably in Canine translates to "Ok leave the house again if you must, but the steak stays here with me! I know it`s in there you know!Grrrr!"

Perhaps the next time you put an undesired steak into Mrs M's handbag you should tell her. Then she could remove it before going to work thus saving a dog anxiety.
