It's hammering Big Brother in the ratings... and the tabloids ask WHY?

Because it's 100% better that's why and BB is and always has been crap.
I've never watched a full programme of BB since it started.
I love Springwatch (the scene where the barn owls killed and ate their brother was worse than a horror movie).

I'm totally addicted. Get a little bit annoyed with Oddie as he does some to patronise the lovely Miss Humble, but it's a terrific show! Did you see the fox cubs attempting to cross a busy main road? Bill Oddie is magically relaxed and clearly doesn't give a shit as long as he's enjoying himself.

Best series of the year so far and getting terrific ratings (I keep telling TV people, who don'y believe it, the easiest way to get ratings is to be good).

I shall miss both New Tricks and Hustle - both of which were excellent I thought.

And of course Dr Who... another one tonight!

New Tricks is superb, I couldn't get into Hustle. Not sure why. I cannot stand David Tennant as Dr Who. I thought Ecclestone was good, but Tennant has this irritating habit of over emphasising every syllable he utters. The fourth bad doctor, after Davison, Colin Baker, and McCoy. Troughton was the best, followed by Pertwee (such style) and then Tom Baker, although I wish Jon Culshaw would stop doing the latter.
