Colds all over the place. 3 Years, 7 Months ago
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-53983392

It seems that the common cold is rampant in schools in Scotland.

No problem, except didn't they tell us that Covid is transmitted in the same way as a cold? Through eyes, mouth, nose via the hands, and from breathing in the virus.

So this shows that all the masking, distancing, whole year isolating, hand washing, anti-baccing, deep cleaning etc is COMPLETELY USELESS because if they can catch a cold, they can catch the virus in exactly the same way.

I read somewhere that the instances of colds and flu’s is right down this year
and I know I haven’t caught one whereas every year I’d normally be burdened with a horrid cold or flu.

Fingers crossed 🤞 it stays that way..

Mind you, what a year it’s been, I haven’t had anyone over my house to visit since lockdown,
our office (self employed) is not being used for ages (but still paying rent)
and I haven’t been physically close to anyone except when shopping in the supermarkets.. where it’s tricky
at times to maintain social distancing.

There's no evidence of that whatsoever.

Where has the NHS/WHO ever come to such a conclusion?

Contamination through the eyes!

The transmission/contamination/passing on/methodology - is unknown.

Hence the constant expansion of this new lethal infection.

Lethal? 2 dead in entire UK yesterday! Yet 9 million globally die each year from Cancer. 6 million in road accidents. Don't believe the media.

What on earth are you talking about?

This is how covid is transmitted..www.england.nhs.uk/coronavirus/primary-c...irus-transmission/#:~:text=Respiratory%20droplets%20carrying%20infectious%20pathogens,of%20sneezing%2C%20coughing%20or%20speaking.

And this is how a cold is transmitted..www.nhs.uk/conditions/common-cold/

The exact same way!

If you are going to be hysterical about it at least read up on how to avoid it!

Lethal means capable of causing death. And it killed 13k in both California and Texas with a roughly similar total population to the UK where 41k died. Both states are much larger than the UK, so why 1.6 times more deaths in the UK?

So many questions remain unanswered. Another is why did 31k die in France which is the same size as Texas. 2.4 times more deaths. Answers are just as important as a cure which requires them before it can be successfully manufactured.

In the old days before media hype hijacked common sense, newspapers would simply be requested to state that communications respecting the existence of contagious sickness be addressed to the local medical officer of health or public health officer in order that the necessary means to arrest the spread of sickness were adopted and from whom disinfectants, etc, could be obtained.

Grapes kill quite a lot of people, but we don't usually describe them as lethal.

Why does one method make no mention of formites then? Are grapes more dangerous than bananas!

It says.."washing your hands with warm water and soap"

What do you think this is for? It doesnt go through the skin. You usually put the virus into your body via mucous membranes. We all touch our eyes, nose, and mouth a lot, even when we dont realise.

It also says.. "not touching your eyes or nose in case you have come into contact with the virus – it can infect the body this way" (and it mentions not sharing cups which transfers it through the mouth)

So, just what I said in the first place?

I suppose they thought it was not needed to go into too much detail with something so obvious.

And if you still dont believe me, watch the first thirty seconds of this Bupa video.

And yes, grapes are more dangerous than bananas because they are exactly the right size and shape to block a small child's windpipe, and hard to get out. (not that any food is entirely safe, so dont go shoving bananas in babies gobs and blaming me if they choke)

But still not "lethal" because most people survive grapes perfectly well. Like Coronavirus.
