Assuming that there is a valid reason for cutting down to six people from two households, what difference will it make?
Maybe I have an unusual social circle, but dont we usually go and visit people in ones or twos, not the whole flipping family? (I go out to get away from from mine
).
Other than very rare special occasions, like weddings (which are exempt) I cant believe anybody ever meets up in multiple family groups, and if you tried to do it in a pub you would be put on separate tables anyway.
