Nobody in their right minds can be pleased if a police officer has been killed. Or anyone else, come to that (including, please, those drowned trying to reach Europe or the UK for a better life). But there is a growing quantity of society which regards police, often, as no better than criminals themselves. A tiny minority of bent cops, I think; the majority are incompetent rather than deliberately malicious. The few decent ones are leaving the force in droves.

I know nothing but what are the chances that whoever killed this Croydon cop is either black or gay? Or both. Just saying.

Officers can't search the crotch area when searching a person. It takes seconds to release handcuffs and person to reach in their trousers to grab gun. If the murderer was on watchlist and extremist why wasn't he under stricter supervision ?

Why don't media does not mention skin colour on crisminals but say white this and white that ? BBC and Sky News are sneered at in America and Canada.
