Tucked away towards the end is the fact that they have doubled the number of tests. Why is there then surprise that numbers "jump"? 86% are asymptomatic anyway. If you test the numbers are going up!! It is that stupid.

A country that used to spray all incoming passengers with cans of disinfectant is probably more vulnerable to mass media biosecurity stories.

Why doesn't the government say Covid is here and here to stay ? TB was wiped out but now it's back; there was no panic buying or hysteria.

I think it would have been fascinating being a fly on the wall behind the scenes on the day the Australian PM backtracked on a comment he made that a coronavirus vaccine would be “as mandatory as you can possibly make it”.
