I have so many things I dislike about Trump and his policies but I have to say I totally agree with him on Covid; despite Biden following the populist media line ("that empty chair where your loved one used to sit" - bollocks; emotional blackmail; I really HATE this opportunism). If I were a Yank (100% - I'm only 50%, not allowed to vote) I'd vote for Trump (through gritted teeth).

I hate all this wokeness and emotive speeches by Biden ("There will be an empty chair in your house where someone has died of Covid"). However Trump would have done the same and worse if Biden was in power. Its standard electioneering. Remember the "Lock her up" chants against Hilary Clinton, for shock horror, deleting some emails. Most people don't understand that case, and just went with the lynch mob mentality.
Trump will boast about how strong the economy was before Covid. However he inherited a growing economy and economies largely run themselves and their success is more the result of business leaders and the global environment in general.

As for Hunter Biden, I don't know what he is accused of, and don't care. People should not be judged by the actions of their children. Biden is painted as an ardent socialist by Biden, when he is nearer to Cameron than Corbyn. After four years the democrats really should have found someone better. They have the oldest president in history, and they decide to put up someone against him that is even older. Although Biden is not great and has a penchant for sniffing women's hair, Trump is a whole level more of nasty, and the world will be a better and kinder place without him in power. The guy is a comical figure. Everything that he doesn't like is fake news, and he says that Global warming is a hoax, despite 95% of scientists saying otherwise.

Trump does believe in Climate Change however he said it's not all man-made which is true.

The planet has changed over the years probably starting with the split of Pangaea; please note Earth did have an ice age and stone age.

Also I love the media and world leaders changed it from Global Warming to Climate Change - everything fucking changes you could change your sex.

It's all done by design. Mrs Clinton was always centre in the debates and the better dressed. Demoncrats thought they would win but was shocked when Trump won. Now they could not understand why and threw every conspiracy they could find even the Russian bullshit. Biden has been a career politician for nearly 50 years, done nothing but was better candiate (fuck knows why).

Trump has gained momentum from black and hispanics by getting them out of prison and in to the work force. Harris put a ton of black people in prison on weak charges. In the 80's and early 2000's Trump was a firm Democrats. No one called Trump a racist during these times not even the media or celebs.

Now, if Biden loses Harris will be the Democrats next leader and use the race card to win back votes, remember she wanted Brett Kavanaugh to be guilty. If Trump wins a second term the Democrats will use their arsenal even Harris will try to impeach Trump again; if Candace Owens is to be the next Republican leader then it will be fireworks, two black women trying to be first woman of colour to be President. People who voted for Obama voted Trump evidence is out there.

Hunter Bidens' laptop is a hot topic but the media are doing what they can to avoid the subject, consertives know that Hunter and Biden are dodgy. Trump knew about dodgy dealings that Hunter was doing in Ukraine and Joe was getting a chunk of the pie.

He appears on tv slagging off world leaders (Theresa May), and then meets them 1 hour later, and tells them how wonderful they are, as if they don't have access to his previous interview. He claims that Coronavirus can possibly be cured by somehow, possibly injecting bleach, or possibly shining a light into the body. Even die hard republicans like Arnold Scharznegger think that we would all sleep better at night, if he weren't the president. He recovers from Coronavirus, and then comes out posturing that he feels so great and powerful and wants to kiss everyone on the audience. Can you imagine Matt Hancock doing that. As predicted by most experts, hopefully he will lose in November. Then he will claim, this is all the fault of Russian bots, and it is all fixed. Lets hope we can all move on from this terrible chapter.

He has been in hospital for 7 weeks now on a ventilator.

His kidneys have packed up and he's having serious heart problems. He was pretty healthy until then from what I hear.

It's a virus that seems to have no normal pattern.

Yesterday he lapsed into a coma. You can imagine how his family feel and fortunately they don;t come and read the shallow know-all garbage on here, the selfish pontifications made from ignorance.

Yes Hedda - individual tragedies abound but are you suggesting that individual cases prove Covid19 is a far worse disease than cancer or sepsis or heart attacks or the numerous other illnesses? I think we would all agree that stupid politicians should have banned cigarettes and smoking years ago - but media hasn't hyped the fact that 450 victims a day die from cancer in the UK alone.

We're not saying individual tragedies should be dismissed. Or that deaths are not sad. What we're saying is that over reaction, based on media hype, has caused far more misery than Covid19 itself. Are we wrong? Should we agree with lockdowns and rules like not being able to buy socks in Wales?

As Covid19 sweeps down under and restrictions are put in place to try to limit the spread - you, doubtless, feel it is wise government. Many of us feel it is stupid over reaction and, like Flu, we should learn to live with it, concentrating on protecting the vulnerable and treating those who suffer. Is that wrong?

If Covid19 was like Ebola I would advocate some kind of control of the spread. It isn't.
