I've been a Nicola Adams fan since Day One (only because she has the most amazing smile) and hoped she'd win but her first dance was awful; very clod hopping. No natural rhythm.

I thought Nicola Adams was very good, and so did the judges. Hrvy was also very good (Who is he?). I thought Bill Bailey would be very cynical and just take the mick, but he seemed to embrace it, and gave a good performance.

I bet Kevin and AJ are regretting leaving this show now. It is the only game in town. By the time theatres open up properly, they will be distant ex-contestants on strictly who people barely remember. Never forget what made you famous.

Agree Robbie. Hope you're right about Nicola; I felt she had no natural sense of rhythm. Still has the best smile in the world, however; she won that award years ago.

I predicted HRVY last week... though not familiar with him, he’s bound to have strong fan voting on his side. I also reckon Maisie from EastEnders will be in the final. I loved Nicola Adams’ dance. I want Bill Bailey to do well, feared he was the ‘joke entry’ but he seems quite serious (hair notwithstanding). The Wanted boy will get the heart throb vote. I was worried last week that the (comparative) lack of an audience (and Bruno) was going to ruin it but wk1 seemed pretty good...

I find the lack of Bruno a bonus. I find his swailing arms and fake overactions annoying, and he can be quite nasty and personal. At least Craig does it in a very pantomime way. I think that Nicola will get to the final. She isn't the best dancer, but been likeable is equally important. Carin was easily the best dancer last year according to the judges votes, but Kelvin won easily, including virtually every night of the strictly tour.
