Even I can be influenced by the meejah.

Like a few 100,000 Trump adoring fans I did start to think maybe he really does have something to pull out of the bag at the last moment.

# Just watching some old video of him at one of his 2015 rallies where he says "I will eliminate government debt within 8 years".

Guess he can justify this by saying he had only 4 years but how he could ever pay of US debt..now $7Trillion under him (it becomes unfathomable at that stage) but..

Now he has been Impeached apparently he can't pardon anyone at all and after the 20th, obviously can't.

He remains impeached until the Senate votes.

In the end Trump is brilliant at convincing millions he would deliver and yet still never did..and they still believe him?

Of course he really may have a Secrit Plan for the 20th but he has, after all, just been a carnival barker with no substance.

It's why I think a majority of his hardcore fans will turn on him eventually.
Doubt he'll care though..golfing in Florida for the next few years.

I wouldn't say you were influenced by meejah Hedda - so much as seem to have fallen for the "extreme" viewpoint. Black or white. I think Trump was a very effective con man and remains so. He did manage, without affiliating himself to ANY party (at the start) to become President. For four years. Incredible. I'm also not convinced that a good President should NOT be a con man. I suspect those very talents are required when fighting for your country; some even "dirty" or even technically "illegal". Likewise he failed at many things and had very suspect views and policies.

But I think you're wrong to call him a total failure (at least until you get your $3000 back).

Two sides to every story - a business partner did well with Trump supplying booze to his establishments.
