TOPIC: Test Trace and other rubbish

Test Trace and other rubbish 3 Years, 3 Months ago
This graph indicates how totally different ways of "stopping the spread" have little or no effect; the virus catches fire and kills a few. Even those countries that managed to stop enormous infection (usually because of low population centres) have a similar graph.

I love the way the graph warns that not all Covid deaths may be included (just to scare folk a bit more) but doesn't mention that the Covid deaths that are included contain any other way of dying (including being shot or squashed by a truck) occuring when the deceased has tested positive for Covid in the past 28 days.

Yes that needs to be taken into account WYOT but the essential direction of the graph - similar everywhere - is significant. Very few excess deaths anywhere (compared to most years).

Oh yes I am all too aware JK and have seen much similar data. The excess deaths is interesting too if you look into it. The number of deaths "at home" is extraordinarily high at the moment and needs to be factored in to the very few excess deaths you have highlighted.

These are people who could not access treatment or didn't seek treatment - panicdemic deaths.

And the ones who die of covid AFTER twenty-eight days aren't included either.
I don't know why they bother with the stupid charts.
We might as well be looking at blancmange for all it matters.

The point is, Honey, that media inflated the dangers of Covid19 a year ago; global governments believed them and took actions which have led to FAR worse repercussions than the virus (essentially just a new version of flu).

History will show how trivial (for most) this virus has been. Far less lethal than the original flu attacks (when 50 million died).

There will be another awful virus soon. As lethal as Ebola; as infectious as Covid19. And media will go the other way. "Don't panic". But then humanity SHOULD panic. It will destroy millions.

Which may be a good thing.

I agree in principal about the deaths caused by lockdowns etc, but there are too many variables to be counted and shown on a chart.

For instance, they say there are no more deaths than in a bad flu year. True, but this will be because of the methods of controlling coronavirus, such as masks, which work great for flu, but crap for covid.

So BECAUSE we did something, we have hardly any flu, and flu deaths are swapped with covid deaths.

This would be ok, because a certain amount of death is acceptable, whatever the cause, but if we hadn't done "something" we would have ALL the flu AND all the virus deaths, so double the deaths. At least.

It seems obvious to me that if you lock people up and deprive them of medical treatment it will cause deaths.

But probably, some lives will be saved by NOT having treatment.

Most effects are probably long term and haven't happened yet, so we can only guess.

We can all see with our own eyes how horrific it is to die from covid, and you would have to be stupid to not foresee many more deaths to come BECAUSE of "restrictions", but the fantasy charts are not accurate and wont be for a very long time, if ever.

I'm completely perplexed by the whole thing.

Australia has a small population- 26 million- compared to most European countries and an enormous land mass but over 90% live in cities yet Covid deaths have been very small (probably less than JK's Famous Flu)

Latest conspiracy theory- China sent a mild strain to Oz as it wants to keep Oz fairly virus free for when they take over the joint to house a spare few 100 million Chinese.

Mind you they've been buying up the place left right and centre so could be something to it.

## Asian races tend to revere OAPs as fonts of wisdom so I should be fine.
Unless they decide I might be surplus to needs.

It might just be that Australia is hot and they have big houses and apartments?

The charts (SAGE version) are very useful to frighten the nation Honey as we listen to Vallance and Whitty deliver the most monotone, boring camp fire horror story known to man....

They are also very useful in making it look like it is all inevitable rather than anything to do with our leaders.

But other than this yes blancmange...

Don't rate that as a conspiracy theory. It assumes far to much care for a few million spare lives from a regime currently busying itself with genocide:

Exactly, Wyot. They use the charts to justify bollocky decisions.
