all identical examples of this century's decline in depth of thinking. Instead of analysis and consideration humanity no longer has the time nor inclination to think for even a few seconds about a subject. A few moments of intelligent thought would have totally changed all these (and many other) fiascos. Media demand simple headlines. Slogans catch on. Save Lives. Make America... I was raped. Take Back Control. All bollocks.

Regulars know I think the world should Open All Borders. Long before the "spread" of this latest bug gave the dummies an excuse to shut borders. Humanity should look after humanity. But in many cases moving is simply another simple solution to a complex problem. Move to England from sunny Africa? Superficially that sounds fine. In reality - why? Ghastly weather, stupid racism, no advantages to dreary Britain.

I say Open All Borders because it will save thousands of lives. But the reasons for moving are generally stupid.

Likewise Stop the Spread. We won't. We didn't for Flu. We didn't for colds. Covid19 is here to stay. Always a trivial virus for most, even more trivial when we have vaccines. If humanity could Stop the Spread of OLD AGE (the Number One killer virus) it would try. Why? DOH!!! Inevitability needs acceptance. There are so many vital other causes to fight (like the False Allegations Industry - destroying millions).

It's so annoying when I mostly agree with JK.

I remember seeing it with dear Bob Geldof and Band/Live Aid. Magnificent hype; best intentions; using the media (all too willing for a great story). Result? Millions failed to be donated to good, working charities like Oxfam and Save The Children. I got a letter from the boss of one saying "Thank God for you; nobody else dares say anything". The result? I was sneered at (fine by me) and millions more died when the monies all went into the pockets of rich, corrupt customs officials.

Covid19 is much the same. Media hypes it; millions join in ("oh it's so dreadful; far worse than cancer etc"). Many more die as a result of the hype as opposed to this trivial virus (for most).
