It reminds me of the newspaper in my door.
One of my cats can open every door, cupboard, oven, fridge, parcel- Anything.
I try to keep him away while I am sleeping, and I am hoping to get some sort of super-closing catch that will stop his antics.
Meanwhile, I jam a newspaper in the door, which isn't ideal, but works pretty well.
The thing is, its been there for two years, and I have stopped thinking "I must hurry up and get that catch changed"
But now think " that paper is falling to bits, I will stick a new one in".
I have even deliberately bought a larger sized paper!
Instead of fixing the root of the problem (crap NHS) they are spending the money needed to sort it out on furloughing etc.
They are churning out money and ruining businesses nd lives instead, and have probably forgotten that the NHS was in a mess beforehand. Just like I forget about my door catch.
