Thanks. Just been reading a bit about him; very inspiring. Very few youngsters could respond like this. I will watch with interest his 140 mile triathlon.
I had a friend at University lost a leg above the knee in a motorbike accident about the same age. He was a good laugh and not self-pitiying in the least.
But Mark did on one memorable occasion - during a lock-in in the union bar - remove his prosthetic leg and use it as a club to try and kill someone. Which led to a scene involving me jumping on his back to try and wrest the limb from his hands while another clung to his natural leg in order to impede his deadly progress...
They weren't then those light looking "bionic" limbs Billy is wearing either...
