TOPIC: For Wyot.

I now think of GM as a figure lurking between the wilderness and civilization; wearing bear skins, fingering his rifle, and squinting at the horizon like Clint Eastwood...

This would be my dream house something like this and surrounded by more nature and less people.

Then I change my name to Grizzly Adams.

I look forward to an invite to a BBQ when we live in a free world again GM; though from the look of it I will bring my own burgers as I don't wish to eat freshly shot moose...

The nearest Walmart from that property is a 20 minute drive or a 4 hour walk. Knowing me, I would have to walk it and enjoy the wildlife and the surroundings at the same time.

Yes I love long walks too GM; in nature though I greatly enjoyed walking around London when I lived there - just getting lost in the scale and diversity and noting the history in the buildings like stratas of rock. I extended my "lunch hour" today (naughty but I am the boss!) and walked 2 hours up & fown The Thames. Glorious. I was listening to my first e-book - JK's pal Mr Fry was telling me all about Greek myths, as it goes. Very enjoyable.

Back in the 70s The Bean had a friend who did tours of London in a horse drawn carriage; it was wonderful and taught me to look at the tops of buildings (which I now do in open topped Baby Car).
