The World Bank is estimating that between 111 and 149 million worldwide will be thrown into extreme poverty as a result of the "worldwide economic cstastrophe" of our reaction to Covid 19:

Okay, they write as a result of the "pandemic" but you can't have everything these days.

So far there have been between 2-3 million who have died "with Covid". How many of the 111-149 million will die and their children - the effects are estimated to last into 2030 at least?

I suspect significantly more than 2-3 million of those who have died "with" Covid.

If people think far more people dying to save less people (and let's not even start on how many of the 2-3 million are excess deaths on a normal global flu season...or the number of cancer deaths to come as a result of lockdown..or suicides...or domestic murder...) then fine; but at least acknowledge the millions you are willing to sacrifice (99% black and third world) worldwide in order to save a relative handful of people and your political ratings back home.

Europe lets the former colonies burn as it runs around like headless chickens fleeing the chasing media. I wish someone would draw that cartoon for a major daily....

Yes isn't the frightening thing how this became worldwide madness so fast? As a species we have become incapable of depth of thought. Tabloid slogan headlines rule everything. It happened to me in the year 2000. I couldn't believe it then; I'm still amazed by it now.
