I saw glimpse of some award show this morning at the warehouse this morning. What a load of bollocks that was. I'm glad to say I don't have a TV connected to any device, streaming service, antenna or dish.

I don't go to the cinema either. When people talk about TV shows, I am pleased that I don't have to engage in mundane conversations.

My partner is happy to watch films on her own, whilst I have music on with headphones. It's a compromise for us both.

Takes me back to my early days when I was a club owner. I didn't mind getting groped by the drunkards or women having a laugh. But hated it when I was carrying a stack of glasses or drinks. That's when I would yell.

reminds me when I was on holiday in Australia yonks ago and was walking down a Kings Cross street and Michael Aspel walked towards me with an unknown lady.

When I got back to my hotel (before the internet) another gentleman put down the UK newspapers he was reading and in The Sun was a huge banner headline "where is Michael Aspel"..apparently he had left his wife and abscondered with a female friend.

Missed opportunities.. I could have paid for my holiday with paparazzi snaps if I'd had my Box Brownie with me.
