Just when you thought it was safe etc ....

The farmers are about to unleash yet another horrific disease upon us. Wave after wave have hit us over the last few years.

Perhaps if they spent a little more time actually looking after their animals instead of trying to slaughter foxes etc?

I'm not sure whether farmers can do a lot to prevent the sporadic outbreaks of Foot and Mouth. I know it is a highly infectious airborne disease, and that's about all I do know about it.

Maybe you(or someone else)can enlighten me, ITK.

Without doubt you are right about the other diseases unleashed upon us by farmers, ITK. I was just being pedantic about Foot and Mouth. I'm not sure there's any evidence to suggest farmers can do anything about that.

I think its quite rare for this disease to be carried "on the air", so other factors must come into play.

The "latest" news is that this strain has probably "escaped" from a Government laboratory !

and now suspicion has moved onto an American Lab sharing the same site.....

Make the whole 2001 Foot and Mouth start to make sense.

The VIRUS was released into the UK by the USA because they feared Tony Blair was under threat of losing the election......the effect of the F&M2001 was to wipe out farming as a force in the UK. So many went under that the planned Countryside Marches and the big campaign they were mounting collapsed.

We are suffering "big brother" government for the first time in the UK since the Second World War ( bought in for obvious reasons ) and the effect is that any part of the economy outperforming officially sanctioned "USA" world view will be hit hard.

This is especially true of the Advert Pulls for FACEBOOK - less than a week after it overtook the USA approved My Space this bizarre set of advert pulls reported by the USA approved Sky News started to appear.

If you look for this pattern with commerce and the media it is very clear - though with the dumbing down of our kids in the last 10 years it is probably only those who are over 30 who can spot this.

Yes, it looks as if it's not the Mad Farmers this time ... but the Mad Scientists (at the inappropriately named Institute of Animal Health) !!

Incredible ! Legionnaires disease has now been discovered at the Institute of Animal Health (although they seem to slaughter more than they save!) at Pirbright.
