It strikes me that Government and Media are linked to avoid looking at the AZ vaccine. You'll notice it's not mentioned these days. "Get the booster - Pfizer or Moderna". You'll have noticed millions who got the AZ vaccine complained of quite serious after effects. You'll have watched me saying "I'm glad I got the Pfizer (three times); far from convinced by the AZ being "first" - rushed through in order, in my opinion, to get media praising "Brilliant Britain". But it does puzzle me that such a huge story (remember - I know nothing and am saying nothing) does not warrant media attention or investigation. Why not? Is it just because National Editors are useless and investigative journalists no longer know how to investigate? Wouldn't you think that the UK, home of AZ, has more infections of Covid (Delta variant) than almost the rest of the world combined warrants examination? OK, it's dropping off now (almost everyone has had it). Am I cynical?

AZ was selling at cost until very recently; not making people any money...

I think if there was a health problem with AZ in particular we would know about it by now.

I may be more cynical than you WYOT and I suspect if there was a simple explanation, it would have already been dropped in, as an excuse or explanation. NO; there is something very serious here. Something wrong with the AZ vaccine. It may lessen symptoms and reduce danger levels but there is something going on we are not being told (and those who have had AZ understandably do not want to hear).

But there has been a simple explanation JK - the pfizer & moderna vaccines use the new MRNA approach (AV doesn't) which gives a better boost. They were also proved to be a bit better at providing longer term protection than AV because of this. This is why the UK is running with them for boosters.

You may be correct that as an AZ recipient I want to think this; but there is a simple explanation for the booster dominance of pfizer & moderna.

I think WYOT may be correct as everything the Johnson government has done re Covid has been driven by money.

If the AZ vaccine was found to be faulty the legal ramifications would be immense. Imagine the 100,000s who could sue ! (includes me )

No matter what vaccine is used and despite them all being free manufacturers still have an obligated to a duty of care and can be sued.

Most covid vaccines have worked well, as far as we know. To what degree, individually or collectively is uncertain.

Because accurate global data isn't yet available on this previously unseen virus. However one thing seems to be absolutely certain.

That this mutating virus (perhaps only beginning the process) will need updating regularly.

To get new and enhanced immunisations, based on its new and evolving statuses. Vigilance is still crucial.

Even our office Christmas party was cancelled today! Nobody was keen on the free food and booze at The Ivy.

Surely we are just too important for the Universe to show complete indifference to us?

My suspicion is exactly as above - that the AZ - being the older method of giving and adapting a small amount of the virus, like the flu jab, is only sufficient in stopping severe reactions. The newer Pfizer/Moderna approach is currently more effective, longer lasting and stronger. For the moment. Viruses mutate and adapt; vaccines must do the same.

I am not sure if we can accurately say that if more strokes/heart attacks/pimples are happening since the vaccines it is a direct cause.

Unemployment, eating crap when you cant go and get food, no exercise, no socialising, and being terrified by your own government can cause illness too.

And while I am moaning about the way figures are manipulated to link to the virus, vaccines, or not being vaccinated, it drives me bananas when people keep saying you have got a 99% (ish) chance of surviving covid.

Yes. Overall. Great! But for some the chance of dying is very high, so they need to do stuff to avoid getting it and the rest don't.

Is that by design by the NWO/WEF. Norway and Florida, North Carolina, Texas (my favourite place) are back to normal. Yet the media are very quiet about it along with 'freedom rallies' that are happening around Europe and UK.
