Shop workers get enough abuse from morons, do we need to have fuel on the fire ? Shop assistants, managers and security guards can't demand to see papers, lanyard's or ask you if you're exempt.

It will only be days before we hear about a shop manager or security guard getting head-butted for asking to put on a mask. People are scared shitless to challenge those from ethnic's groups or religions - so again if it's law as Sajid says in the article will enforce it ? We had 3 lockdowns, masks off have been for months.

Flu kills millions but we don't shut businesses for that.

I think I will join a march in London, I do get invited to them.

We went out yesterday for a meal - the first time really in two years, not counting the odd casual cafe visit - and my god I hated it. Restaurants complain about the financial challenges they face: well, yes, but they should try coping by being welcoming rather than just sneaking in extra service charges whilst looking miserable. We didn't feel remotely welcome, had to wait ages for any service at all, and on top of that had to endure idiots coughing all around as if we were in some flu clinic. I guess I've completely lost that frame of mind needed to cope with such things, but now I just can't be bothered.

"Flu clinic" really made me laugh. I know exactly what you mean.

Also, I have lost count of the times I have stood in the queue watching the sales assistant cough, splutter and smear snot over everything, and I walk out empty handed.

They always say "its ok, its not covid" I really don't care what it is, I would just rather not have it, thanks!

It's the flu season. I do remember a New Year's Eve part back in 2008, a customer coughed and sneezed over his money before giving it to the bar maid. People were tougher back then.

One touch of a cold people now swab their noses and gobs.
