When we were part of the EU it made sense for some of our borders to be based in France. Now we've chosen NOT to be in the EU, it strikes me that the EU have every right to demand that we return our borders to Great Britain and that they can put possible future immigrants onto safe ferries and transport to the UK.

You sound almost as angry as I am WYOT. I spoke at a False Allegations conference last month and another speaker, a psychotherapist, condemned anger as a negative emotion. I disagreed. But my anger is not personal. It's for the victims of false allegations in prison today. It's for the victims of Indeterminate Sentences (now illegal) who are STILL in jail. It's for those dying in the Channel and Mediterranean. It's for those who squeal "Take Back Control" but do not want to have control. Like those who want to kill people who kill people. BONKERS. Yes I am bloody angry JK, don't mind admitting it and think it would be useful if more people became so.

I am not a migrant. I don't know a single migrant. The UK's policy makes no difference to me either way. I am angry about the disaster of Covid lockdowns but they haven't affected me personally; or anyone close to me - apart from being cooped up!

But every migrant is a human being and so am I.

On every issue I mention and you mention I am angry about twats talking about anything other than the real issues because of their bloody careers; and I am tired of my fellow humans just responding to events through the narrow prisms of their own lives.

Anger comes from empathy as well (as bitterness or hatred) and the world needs more empathy-born anger at the moment Shed loads of it, in fact.

It is "unusual" for a psychotherapist to condemn any emotion, so I assume he is just an arse who has not had the misfortune of being stitched up and jailed for a crime that never happened.
