why "experts" and Governments ignore the obvious. Two months ago the spread of Covid in the UK was massive (50,000 a day) yet only a tiny amount were dying "with" Covid - it was then the Delta variant, if I remember, or was it the "Kent"? Now along comes Omicron - even less lethal and about as nasty as the common cold. Except for the very old, very fat, smokers etc. Yet nobody seems able to say "Panic over. Vaccines work well. OK, if some want NOT to get the vaccine (odd but that's their privilege) - that's up to them. But don't wreck society, the economy, the health services by obeying media hype".
