Once when I was filming Entertainment USA I did a great link but afterwards Gordon Elsbury (my lovely and much missed Director) said to me - "You can't say that JK, it's not true!" to which I answered "This is not Truth and Consequences Gordie - it's entertainment!".

I'm afraid I still feel that but my worry has been that fun, frivolous fiction (like me being a "Vile Pervert", which I don't mind at all when it's just celebrity image) has been taken seriously by the courts, the government and judges.

When THAT line got crossed we moved into deep shit - where we are now!

There you go, you can`t sell entertainment on the grounds that the subject is the nice lad/lass from next door without a story.

The nice lad/lass from next door who has an astounding voice, bakes cakes all day, loves his/her mum and bites tails from hamsters on stage is a big story.
