My first sexual encounter occurred when I was 14 years of age. I had consentual sexual intercourse with a woman who I believe was 30 at the time. I am now 29 years old and I still remember the experience with extreme fondness and enjoyment. There was a mutual attraction at the time, I did not do anything I did not want to, I do not consider myself a victim whatsoever, in fact I would'nt want to change the experience for anything. I knew exactly what I was doing at the time and enjoyed every minute of it.
I believe there should actually be a time limit on reporting sexual offences, in JK's case it was a gross miscarriage of justice and he was quite clearly a victim of his own fame. If he had been an 'ordinary' member of the general public there would almost certainly not have been the queue of people wanting to jump on the bandwaggon with the obsurd allegations which were made.

Well Ross, thank you for that - when I emerged from my long, all expenses paid luxury vacation in Her Majesty's Estate, I said in an interview that I believed, as indeed I still do, that everyone who had sex with me enjoyed themselves.

The tabloids howled that I was claiming my "victims" loved it. They chose to miss the points that the "victims" of my wrongful convictions never had sex with me so enjoyment was not an issue.

Also that everyone who made claims said they loved visiting me - because they returned so many times and the police quickly realised no jury would believe it if they said they hated it!

One friend whose allegations were thrown out when we proved he'd been OVER 16 when we met (there's a little known clause saying that if both parties were over 16 and no complaint was made within 12 months, there cannot be a prosecution) admitted he'd visited me around 50 times over a three year period.

If someone visits 50 times between the ages of 16 and 19, should I not be correct in assuming he enjoyed himself?

And of course now if you are in the broad category of a 'position of trust' you can't have sex with people under 18.

A prosecution for an offence committed under Section 6 (or an attempt to commit that offence) must be commenced within 12 months of the alleged offence.
