I think Portsmouth are well worth a flutter at the moment.

I'm an Arsenal fan. (what is it with Jens Lehman?)... I did watch the Manchester derby, and again Manchester city rather like Reading, have cottoned onto the fact that Man Utd do not like man to man marking. Like Arsenal they want space and bags of it to play at full flow with speed, grace and lethality. So far they haven't been allowed that, and I think it's terrific that thus far we have probably what might turn out to be one of the greatest seasons for years, with the 'top four' (Chelsea, Man u, Arsenal, Liverpool) struggling against the lower clubs.

That Chelsea penalty awarded yesterday though, defied all logic. The worst refereeing I have seen for a very long time.

As a Derby fan, I was very grateful to Manchester City for beating our fellow strugglers yesterday.

There has been alot of police brutality around Heathrow, apparently, and fyi, the Governor of an Iraqi province (recently "handed over" by the Brits) has been assassinated !

So - nothing out of ordinary, really !

It wasn't long ago you were throwing blanket accusations of war crimes around, whilst displaying zero empathy for our troops increasingly exposed situation.

Sympathy for British Troops, starting football and tennis related threads... You know ITK, you remind me a character from The Fast Show - Indecisive Dave played by Paul Whitehouse. Dave and his mates are often in deep conversation in the pub, and whilst his friends have very clear opposite views, when they question Dave, he will agree with both of them, constantly contradicting his own statements, and leaving his mates in a state of puzzlement...

As for what's important .... football is somewhere around 35,000,000-ish !

Gardening and just about anything else that anyone can think of is more important (as evidenced by the intelligence level of your average footie supporter !)
