It was all going so well.
Fried spring onions in olive oil, added chunks of fresh chicken breast, then mushrooms, a splash of vinegar, bean sprouts and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

It was the cheese that ruined it - plus the fact that the chicken was under cooked so I may even have poisoned myself.

Made up for it with similar chicken chunks and onions in oyster sauce with noodles.

Delicious.

Ate one; threw the other in the bin.

Bean sprouts and cheese? ewww! A no go.


I created the ultimate sausage sandwiches.

Cranborne organic spicy sausages in crusty bread with olive oil mayo, little gem lettuce, spring onions, and the ultimate new found ingredient Tiptree Brown Sauce.
Forget HP and Daddies, this stuff is so wonderfully subtle I can`t wait to try it in other recipes.

Corn on the cob on the side, in season and perfect.

Not a single supermarket buy there either, all from a little farm shop.

Now you tell me! But I must admit, one second of thought would have removed the cheese from the recipe.

It was revolting.

I'm now waiting for the sensationalist tabloid banner headline - KING TRIES TO POISON HIMSELF.
