Barry George Bail Hearing Tomorrow 16 Years, 8 Months ago
Barry George - the alleged killer of Jill Dando - has an application for bail tomorrow pending his appeal later this year.

I've never been convinced of his guilt - and always though he was "set-up" by the police after they had failed to find the real killer after more than a year.

I wonder though ... does the Judge get a "wink" from the Appeals people to tell him how it's looking? If not - then why should the Judge be considering bail - after all, nothing has changed, has it?

I seem to remember that Sion Jenkins was also released on bail some time before his appeal was successful.

George was a stooge in a political game in which the police, the judiciary and the government were involved. The evidence against George was mostly fabricated, of that I am in no doubt. It has been proven he was 2 and a half miles away at the time of the shooting; added to that the supposed 'evidence' of an obsession with Dando, which the police have since admitted was 'untrue', and the gunpowder traces found in George's coat pocket defies all logic as George insisted he did not own a gun, and no murder weapon was found, so how was this supposed to be 'evidence'that he killed Dando? It's a complete farce from start to finish, and I think this case proves beyond any doubt the corruption and the lies that are spun in order to obtain a conviction and destroy the life of an innocent man. Justice? Don't make me larf!!

Yes - a good sign.

Nobody, and I stress nobody, from inmates to officers to healthcare, governors, staff and chaplains, who had met George in the prison estate (we were both in Belmarsh at different times) thought he was guilty.

Yet another high profile example of the police and CPS setting someone up and not catching the real perpetrators. More common than you would ever, ever believe.

They say the same about Michael Stone.

They said it about poor Sally Clark.

And after meeting me, they said it about me.

Incidentally his QC, Ed Fitzgerald, is meant to be the best in Britain and is representing me at the ECHR.

When the police raided his flat, SIX witnesses (none called at Court) all claim that the police were armed - although they have always denied this.

Its more than likely that IF the gunshot residue was not actually planted then it came from one of the police's own weapons !!!

Is it not Michael Mansfield (once described by the Sunday Times as the "bet noire" of the Metroploitan Police) JK?

So the bail application was refused - as I suspected it might (after all, as of yet there has been no "new" evidence heard by the Court).

One thing ... it will mean even more COMPO when he is finally released (in time for Christmas).

British Justice !
